Privacy Policy

Effective upon the public launch of PirateHoard.com.

Last updated: June 21, 2026

This explains what M.A.P., operating PirateHoard.com collects and how we use it on PirateHoard.com.

What we collect.

  • Account data: username, email, and what you add to your profile.
  • Content: your posts, messages, finds, and uploads.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser/device info, cookies, and usage logs.
  • Verification result: if you verify, our third-party provider returns only a pass/fail and your confirmed country — we never receive or store your ID images or raw documents.
  • Payments: handled by a third-party processor; we do not store full card numbers.

How we use it. To run the Site and its features, secure accounts, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce the Charter and Terms, process verification and payments, and communicate with you.

Cookies. We use cookies for sign-in, preferences, and basic analytics. You can control non-essential cookies; declining essential ones may break sign-in.

Sharing. We share data only with service providers who help us operate (hosting, email, payments, identity verification), or where required by law. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not show third-party ads.

Markets ticker / third-party data. Some pages load live market data from third-party sources; your browser contacts them to fetch prices. We do not send them your personal data.

Your choices. You can edit your profile, request a copy of your data, or request account closure and deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention needs. Contact piratomagus@protonmail.com.

Children. The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. Age-restricted features require verified 18+.

Retention. We keep data while your account is active and as needed for legal, security, and operational reasons, then delete or anonymize it.

International. Your data may be processed in countries other than yours.

Changes and contact. We will post material changes here. Questions: piratomagus@protonmail.com.
