The hard part of seeing is done. Drone-towed and grid GPR produced cathedral-scale underground volumes — vaulted voids and corridors far below the frost line in a desolate northeast Norwegian reach. The visualizations are not a sketch on a napkin; they are the reason this advertisement exists.
The team reads the geometry against Nordic mythic topography with care. The measurement stands on its own. The story is a working hypothesis, not a guarantee that a saga character is buried under the next boulder. What we need now is the capital and patience to open the ground under controlled archaeological and engineering discipline — heavy plant, shoring, conservation lab time, multi-season crew, bonds, and permits.
This is not a weekend detecting club ask. It is a full excavation program sized at roughly five million dollars to complete.
Arrangement
- Financier underwrites the excavation program — illustrative scale about $5,000,000 across plant, shoring, conservation, crew seasons, bonds, and permit costs (final budget line items shared privately).
- Documented expedition and excavation expenses are reimbursed to the financier off the top of any recovery or curated sale proceeds.
- After expenses, the financier equity share of recovered material is negotiated after private diligence on the 3-D volumes — we will not invent a fake public percentage before you have seen the data.
- Publication and discovery credit are part of the package for any serious backer who stays through the dig.
- The survey team retains operational control of the dig plan and conservation standards; the financier does not get to force reckless blasting for speed.
